Are you aged 10½ - 14?
The 1st Sullington & Storrington Comanche Scout Troop is open to those aged from 10½ to 14 years who want to
make friends and develop their widening interests in ways that are both educational and fun - young people
who want a break from the usual after school routine of homework, games and watching television.
Our activities are about action and involvement and mean more than just turning up at the Scout Headquarters
for a meeting. Camping, hiking, gliding, shooting, rock climbing, pioneering, canoeing, parascending, abseiling,
archery, electronics, computing, putting on shows and exhibitions, motor mechanics, photography - the list is endless!
Scouts are also given the chance to learn skills in survival, cooking and first aid. There are often opportunities
to go abroad as well.
The best way to find out what Scouts get up to is to try it for yourself!
The Comanche Scout Troop meets on Friday night from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at The Parminter Scout Centre,
the Scout HQ of the 1st Sullington & Storrington Scout Group.
If you want to take part in the fun of Scouting, either as a Scout, or as an Adult
Leader or Assistant, then please go our Group page for more
information or telephone our membership secretary on 01903 745759.
