The Scout Sign

The Scout Sign is made by Cubs during the making or reaffirming of the Cub Scout Promise.

The Scout Salute

The Scout Salute is made by Cubs when in uniform on formal Scout occasions. These include during "Grand Howl", at the presentation of badges, as a mark of respect at the hoisting of National flags and at the playing of the National Anthem.
